Chat Logger Software
Chat logger software is any program which records the text (or digital) logs of an online chat session. Chat logger software records the entire conversation between two parties engaging in a chat session using such programs as
MSN, AOL, Yahoo, or ICQ chat programs, to name a few.
Chat logger software programs are useful to investigators interested in analyzing the communications between users of these chat programs to identify unfaithful spouses, criminal behavior, or illegal activity.
