A bug detector is any device which enables the user to detect and find "bugging" devices which may be hidden in the immediate area.
A bug detector can be used to locate all types of hidden listening devices, recording devices, hidden cameras, phone taps, or other hidden surveillance equipment - both hard wired or wireless.
